A native of Bari, Italy, pianist, conductor, and composer, Christian Ugenti has more than 10 years of experience as vocal coach and rehearsal accompanist, as well as conductor and stage music assistant at Teatro Petruzzelli in Bari, and Teatro Verdi in Salerno. His collaborations include conductors, classical musicians and stage directors such as Lorin Maazel, Sylvia Massy, Beatrice Rana, Daniele Abbado, Marcello Abbado, Michele Mirabella, Ferzan Özpetek, Marco Bellocchio, Luca Ronconi, Gianni Amelio, Emma Dante, Vittorio Sgarbi, Renato Palumbo, Stephan Anton Reck, Daniele Callegari, Daniele Rustioni, and Giuseppe Finzi. He is currently developing his career as a conductor, leading the Metropolitan City Orchestra of Bari and the chorus at Teatro Petruzzelli.

Besides his activities as musician, Christian Ugenti has an international career as composer and producer of soundtracks for movies, TV and ads, working with Universal UPPM and other major and independent companies in the movie industry. He also collaborates with the Italian national channel Radio Rai 3, Divine Arts Records, Amadeus, and Classiche Forme Festival as a sound engineer.
